In some cases, we may already have your medical history if you’re an existing patient of one of our providers. If there are any additional records we need, our team will handle the coordination and paperwork to make sure your care is uninterrupted and fully informed.

General questions

Your care plan is unique and personalized to you. Your provider will create it based on your health goals, symptoms, lifestyle, and medical history. It may include prescription medication, nutrition and lifestyle recommendations, bloodwork and labs, progress check-ins, and support from your care team. Your care team is in regular communication with you and will work to update your care plan whenever needed.

Your provider will take the time during your first appointment to understand your health history, symptoms, and goals. Our first priority is to help you feel better as soon as possible, which may include prescribing medication right away. When medication is needed, our clinical pharmacy team steps in to ensure you receive the right treatment quickly and safely. We’ll work together to get your prescriptions to you without delay.

Your virtual appointment will take place through a secure video platform, called Zoom. It’s easy to join from your phone, tablet or desktop computer. Before your appointment, you will receive an email and text with a link to join. You will be able to click the link at your scheduled appointment time! Our team is always available to help with set up or troubleshooting—reach out in the AndHealth app whenever you need something.

Yes, we are happy to discuss payment options, including offering a sliding-fee-discount to those who qualify. This means the cost of your care can be reduced based on your income and household size. Our goal is to make sure finances don’t stand in the way of your health. If cost is a concern, our team is happy to walk through options with you. We’re committed to making sure you get the care you need.

Our onboarding and care teams use the AndHealth app to regularly communicate with you. It’s a tool to help manage your care. In the app, you can message your care team, attend your virtual appointments, track your progress, see your care plan updates, view your test results, and access helpful resources—all in one place. It’s designed to make everything helpful and convenient for you.

You can start whenever you’re ready! The lifestyle components, including health coaching, nutrition plans, supplements, wearable, etc., are completely optional. They’re a powerful part of your care and many patients find these pieces helpful to achieving overall health goals. During your first appointment, you and your doctor can decide together whether it’s the right time to get started—it’s all about what works for you and your goals.
